TRAVEL WITH PURPOSE

let’s rethink travel.

consider these questions:

why do we so often separate ourselves from the realities and communities in the places we travel to?

how do we make volunteer tourism more effective than just a trip?

in a world where we are infiltrated with media on a daily basis, how are we so disconnected from the realities of our fellow humans around the world?

in a world with so much time, money and resources spent on developing technology, advancements, developments, and innovation, how have we not found ways to meet the desperate needs that exist?

and this:

there are many ways we’ve been conditioned to live lives where we settle for less thinking what we’re experiencing is good all the while not knowing there’s something better (for us AND others). we’ve also glorified a certain type of travel through social platforms, but what if we told you there’s another way to experience the world?

yes, you guessed it.

it has to do with purpose.

WE WANT TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO VENTURE OUT INTO THE WORLD NOT JUST TO SEE, TASTE, SMELL, AND DO,

BUT TO EXPERIENCE, UNDERSTAND, LEARN, AND FEEL IN ORDER TO EDUCATE, ADVOCATE AND CREATIVELY DRIVE POSITIVE CHANGE.

use travel as a way to help connect your dots of purpose and ignite within you a deep desire and passion for change because that’s the most powerful material from which you use to create.

let your traveling grant you the perspective shifts you need to live a fuller life.

and then take that a step further by sharing your experiences with those in your sphere; be a producer of content and media that matters so we can make big strides in taking social media back.

SO HOW DO YOU PRACTICALLY TRAVEL WITH PURPOSE?

plan trips around causes you care about:

figure out what it is that you care so deeply about and go places to learn more about that specifically.

get involved with organizations and people and go with the intention to understand and feel so you can make a difference even after you come home (enter creativity!).

with trips you’re already taking:

learn about the community you are traveling to by researching local non-profits working to remedy issues you care about. visit them on your trip, and really see what they’re doing. look right into the eyes of the lives that are being impacted.

photographers and videographers: parachute in to give them good content to use. this is crucial for helping them spread their message and highlight needs and impact! it also has the potential to be an equally rewarding and incredibly memorable experience for you.

if all of this seems like work, don’t worry, you’ll get paid.

from an entirely different type of economy.

and if you need ideas, reach out to us! we want to do anything we can to help inspire you or connect you to opportunities to travel with purpose!
