- YOU ARE A CREATIVE BEING. you were created to create [solutions, systems, art, processes, experiences, spaces, you name it].
- THERE ARE BURDENS ON YOUR HEART. This can be a specific cause, issue, demographic or population you care deeply about.
it’s a matter of asking yourself:
WHAT CAN I DO TO START?
if you know the way you like to creatively express yourself,
begin to awaken and cultivate that creativity. be intentional about setting aside time to do that.
if you don’t, ask yourself,
what would I do with my time if money didn’t matter?
what are the things I do that make me feel most alive?
what am I really good at?
how do I like to express myself?
if you know who you would love to help,
even if it is just an age group or general demographic, that’s amazing! start there. follow causes you are passionate about so you can learn more about needs, solutions, and opportunities related to that.
if you don’t, ask yourself,
who did I care about or what passions did I have as a kid or teenager?
what strikes a chord of grief and compassion in my heart?
what have I been through that allows me to help people in a similar situation?
who can I empathize with?
who do I want to help build up or take care of?
KEEP PURSUING OPPORTUNTIES TO EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY AND TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT’S ON YOUR HEART.
eventually the two will collide.
and when you taste purpose like that, you’ll know.
you’ll never be the same.
everyone wins.
because that’s love. and that’s purpose.
